The health-conscious quick-service eatery is coming soon to Colony Square.
Veda Juice, the Peachtree Hills juice bar and health-conscious quick-service eatery, is looking to expand to Midtown.
Co-owners Jackie Greene and Lisa Martinez have plans to bring a 200-square-foot market stall to Colony Square, at 1197 Peachtree Street NE.
The new Veda Juice could open December 19 in the mixed-use development if all goes according to plan, Greene told What Now Atlanta in a telephone interview Friday.
Veda Juice Colony Square would be situated in the food hall in space previously occupied by Press Together Juice.
"We're really passionate about the community and providing healthy food quickly and on-the-go," Greene said.
Veda Juice, which serves salads, breakfast bowls, juices, and smoothies, gets its name from The Vedic scriptures, the spiritual literature of the ancient Indian culture.
"These scriptures are like a staircase with many steps that lead to a higher goal. This was the inspiration for our tag line, 'Step Up To A Healthier Life'. Some non-juice drinkers come in for the first time and see a green juice and think, 'ugh,' I'm not drinking that. As with The Vedic, we can gradually get you there."
Greene and Martinez first launched Veda Juice February 14, 2014 with a location in Peachtree Hills, and could open as many as five Atlanta-area stores.
"We would love to be in the Chastain-area, Brookhaven and maybe eventually Sandy Springs and Alpharetta."
